The barrel of my shotgun shook in the moonlight, the rain hit hard, causing small streams to swell around the tree stumps, it was almost impossible to stand upright in the mud, but i had to,the generator was failing, if i didn't hold out much longer , he might not return .. if he didn't come back, that meant no fuel for the generator, and no fuel means no light.
The wind picked up, the droplets now blasting towards me, still i stood, a single floodlight behind me, faced towards the ever overpowering foreshadow of the forest infront, nothing could prepare you for this, not knowing where the next brain devouring beast would strike f
